The interim government’s Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Sunday visited the army headquarters for the first time, and attended a briefing on important national security issues there.
Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman welcomed the Nobel laureate on his arrival at the headquarters, said a media release issued by the ISPR.
Valuable directions given by the Chief Adviser during the visit will be very helpful in playing an effective role in every aspect of formulation and implementation of the future action plan collectively, the ISPR said.
Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Tauhid Hossain, Home Affairs Adviser Lt General Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (retd), Special Assistant to Chief Adviser on Defence Lt Gen Abdul Hafiz (retd), Cabinet Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain, Navy and Air Force Chiefs, among others, were present.
